What is Auto-Generated Content?

Auto-Generated Content is text that is created programmatically by computers or code, and is not written by humans.

The practice of auto-generating content is considered to be black-hat SEO. But this will soon be blurred by the advent of AI-content creation tools like Jasper and Any Word.

Explain “Auto-Generated Content” Like I’m Five Years Old

Auto-generated content is text that is automatically created for a website, often with the intention to manipulate search engine rankings.

Usually content that is auto-generated tends to be unoriginal, and generally is not helpful to internet users, therefore search engines like Google or Bing may take action on it i.e. remove the website or webpages from their index, therefore those web pages with auto-generated content will stop appearing in the results.
